Appearance: Short and petite, with shoulder length brown hair and green eyes. She is a bit of a fashionista, and is usually seen wearing the latest trends. Even if she is wearing jeans and a jumper, she always looks polished and elegant. Family: Father: Cuthbert Parkinson (Death Eater). Mother: Honoria Parkinson (socialite). She is an only child, spoiled in material ways, but was treated coldly by her parents (especially her father, who wanted a boy, and let Pansy know this every chance he gets). She keeps this well hidden, putting on a facade of a loving family to others because she fears her father's wrath if she does not. Now that her father is in Azkaban, however, that facade is crumbling. Personality: Pansy can come across as an ice princess, and be cynical, catty and bitchy. In school, she would parrot her father's beliefs, as she was afraid of what will happen if she tried to publicly question anything he did or said. Deep down, she is a scared, insecure little girl who could go either way; but she puts up a very large, believable front of strength. She can also be very sweet, and would be more often if she allowed herself to be. She tends to try and be the 'leader', though she is easily led herself. She used terms such as 'Mudblood' and 'Blood Traitor', mainly because that was all she knew. However, she is beginning to question things, at least to herself, and this scares her more than anything. Strengths: Pansy is very intelligent, knows how to get her way, and is loyal to those who are loyal to her. Weaknesses: She lacks direction in her beliefs, and needs guidance. Though she doesn't wish to let anyone know of this. She can also be quite vain and shallow. History: Pansy Parkinson was born on 12 August, 1980 to Cuthbert and Honoria Parkinson. They were hoping for a boy, and were disappointed that Pansy was a girl; they tried to have a second child, but Honoria was unable to conceive again, which Cuthbert took out on both her and Pansy. She grew up in a Pureblooded home of Death Eater wealth and status, not knowing anything else existed. She had the best of everything that money could buy, and acquired some very expensive tastes as a result. The one thing Pansy lacked, however, was their love. Her father in particular was quite unpleasant to her at every turn. When she received her Hogwarts letter and was sorted into Slytherin, her parents viewed this as a matter of course, not expecting anything less from the Parkinson name. However, Pansy was now exposed to all types of people, from every background and blood type. This was foreign to her, and she believed what her parents did because she didn't know any better. However, after pointing out Harry Potter to Voldemort (which she did in an act of fear), and spending her seventh year seeing exactly what the Death Eaters were like, her old belief system is crumbling. She pushes these things out of her mind, but they nag at her when she is alone with her thoughts. Part of her wants to change, and see what she had been fighting against all these years, but doesn't know where to begin without being turned away. With her father in Azkaban, her mother in hiding, and her family's assets having been seized by the Ministry, Pansy is at a crossroads. She has a trust fund her Aunt Prudence set up for her that she is currently living off of, but knows she can't do that forever. Her past ambition had been to marry into a Pureblood family like her mother, but now she doesn't know what she wants to do with her life.
